The Glory Girls announced news of the transfer via a post on their official club website earlier today. The midfielder has signed with Perth Glory for the next two seasons.
Dalton left former club Lewes at the end of the 2022/2023 season after spending two years at The Dripping Pan. The midfielder was an ever-present in her first season with the Sussex club before adding another 11 league outings to her tally this season. Dalton was a popular player during her time at Lewes with her all-round qualities helping her to shine in midfield.
The player now faces the tough challenge of Liberty A-League football with Perth Glory but she will be confident that she can continue to take further steps forward in her career.
After joining Perth Glory, Dalton said “I’m excited to be returning to Australia and the A-League for the next two years.
“I felt I was at a point in my career where an opportunity to be back in the country and closer to family was something I was looking for.
“I knew immediately after speaking with Alex (Epakis) that Perth was the club I wanted to pursue that at and I’m grateful for the trust that has already been shown in bringing me to the club.
“Glory have shown they’re capable of competing at the top, so I’m hoping to play my part in helping the club achieve their goals, as well as continuing my personal development.”
Dalton joins a Perth Glory side which finished the 2022/2023 Liberty A-League season in sixth position.
